Cindy Laciste, 71, a long-time resident of the Las Vegas area, passed away on July 21, 2021, peacefully in her home after a long, bravely fought battle against heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease.
She was born February 2, 1950, in Jaro, Iloilo City, Philippines to Jesus Jardinaso and Amelia Paraluman. She found her soul mate and partner for life at the age of 22, when she married Remigio Laciste in Honolulu, HI.
Cindy received her diploma from Binalbagan Catholic College on April 30, 1967. She received her certifications as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Kaiser Hospital while living in the City of Los Angeles area from 1979 to 1995. After moving to Las Vegas, she worked at Mountain View Hospital, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, Kindred Hospital, and Progressive Hospital until her retirement.
She loved good food, socializing with friends and family, and watching her television shows. She had a vibrant personality, wonderful sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that could be felt from miles away.
She is survived by her husband, Remigio, who is living in Las Vegas; her son, Ednelson, with wife Jennifer; and her two grandchildren, Remy and Ronan, who live in Honolulu, HI, all of whom brought great joy to her later years.
