Claire Fay Prezant, 93, a retired insurance agency owner and active philanthropist, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born on June 21, 1922 to Louis and Minnie Ponemon (nee Jaffe) and was a Las Vegas resident since 1988. Claire is preceded in death by her parents and Sam, her beloved husband of 62 years. She is survived by her daughter, Randi (Michael) Macosko of Henderson; son, Lloyd Prezant of Henderson; grandson, Matthew (Jennifer) Friedman; and two great-grandsons, Dylan and Jacob. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, March 3, 2016 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Burial will follow at King David Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of H. Sam Prezant or Congregation Ner Tamid. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
