Clara Sue Miller

Clara was born in Tom Oklahoma and eventually moved to Broken Bow Oklahoma where she and Aaron owned and operated multiple businesses; the kids favorite being the Dairy Freeze. She and Aaron moved to Las Vegas in 1980 and remained there the rest of their lives. They both worked many years and retired from the Imperial Palace where they made many dear friends. In her retirement, Clara took her schnauzers, CJ, Kaley and most recently Mini, to the dog park daily and met more dear friends she maintained until her death.

Any friend of ours called her “meemaw”. She was spirited, funny and told it like it was. Her most recent care providers described her as a “hoot”. She never lost her sense of humor. She was loved by those who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Clara was preceded in death by her Husband Aaron Miller in 1994, her parents Cora and Willis McDonald and 7 siblings. Clara is survived by her son, Thomas Miller and wife Susie, her step son Bob Miller and Anna, her grandchildren Melonie Westhoff, Mindy Boyle and Kevin Fitzpatrick. She had 3 great grandchildren Austin Weldon (20), Bailey Raugust (14) and Kinley Boyle (11). Clara has many beloved nieces and nephews, too many to name and very much loved.

A visitation for Clara will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Eastern Funeral Home, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
