Clarence Alolor Daus, fondly known to many as “Bert” or “Albert,” passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in Pahrump, Nevada, at the age of 77. Born on September 27, 1947, in Manila, Philippines, Clarence lived a life full of love, courage, and dedication.
At the age of 19, Clarence enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served in the Vietnam War, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. His service reflected his strength, discipline, and deep sense of duty—values that shaped the way he lived his life.
After returning from service, he married his first wife, and together they had two beloved children: Michael Ray Daus and Sandra Jean Daus.
Later, he met the love of his life, Nina Daus, his "amor." They remained happily together for 37 wonderful years, sharing life’s joys and challenges together.
Clarence was a man of many passions. He enjoyed playing tennis and running in his younger years, and later found joy in playing golf. But it was the open road that always called to him—he loved going on road trips, scenic drives, and simply being behind the wheel.
Throughout his life, Clarence wore many hats. He worked at the post office, in car sales, and as an insurance agent. But it was his work as a tour bus driver that truly brought him joy. He took great pride in keeping his bus spotless and making sure his passengers arrived safely and on time. He was known for his warm smile, friendly nature, and for treating everyone like a friend—because to Clarence, no one was a stranger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nina Daus; his children, Michael Ray and Sandra Jean; his stepchildren, Leo, Yvonne, and Frank; and his cherished grandchildren: Mason, Sydney, Christopher, Senna and Christian. He also leaves behind his beloved sisters, Madie, Beth, and Senie, and his favorite niece, Iza, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Clarence will be remembered for his kindness, gentle strength, and unwavering love for family. His legacy of service, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
A celebration of life for Clarence will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 12-2PM at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113.
