Claudette Kemp, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away March 22, 2011. Claudette was a sales associate for Target. She is survived by her companion of 14 years, Roger Desrosiers; daughters, Cheryl (John) Bustamente and Linda (Jim) Cintron; son, Richard Poirier, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Muriel DeLuca of Las Vegas, and Suzanne Hebert of Woonsocket, R.I.; grandchildren, Angie, Richard, Christopher, Kyle, Nicholas and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Larrenz and Tayla. Claudette was a devoted mother who always put her children and family first. She found joy in her friends, dancing, country music and of course, her Avon - and a superstar she was! Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, with services following, both at Christ the King Catholic Community Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive.
