With Love and Respect to all the family and friends!
I was privileged to be Dear Connie Solazzo and Dee Mormon's adopted Brother [along with Stanley Maday], since 1989. They were "Pips", like Dee's Mom! Upbeat with love to party!
Father William called them "The Birds". In a Very Good Way! He came for Christmas Dinner at their house several times, when I was there.
Connie and Dee loved their Brothers Louis and Charlie. I was blessed to help take care to both. I lived in Long Beach and would always visit Charlie Solazzo [in Anaheim, CA].
They loved Gladys so much, a room and lift was added to their house.
People would come across Dee and Connie after not seeing them for years, then talk about their Lingerie Shop.
Connie said that in 1960, Barbara Streisand came in her shop and asked what was a "Bikini"?
She and Dee gladly informed her.
Stanley and I would delight in every moment of fun times in their home, or dining in a Casino.
Connie worked for the IRS as a teacher of the Teachers! There is still in the IRS called the "Solazzo Transparency", in her Honor!
She always brought Strawberry Cheesecake to her Classes. When people couldn't remember her name, they would call her the "Cheesecake Teacher" and "Cheesecake Lady"!
Her family became my family.
Caring and Sharing [with Class], along with always helping friends in need, Connie and Dee were always there! Heaven has gained a Beautiful ANGEL!
