Daniel was born in Batavia, NY to Carl W. Hume and Ada Valentine Hume on August 5, 1944. Daniel graduated from Pavilion Central School. He resided in Le Roy, NY most of his life. He was a master mechanic and skilled in many trades. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War while stationed in South Korea.
Daniel is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda J. Hume and son William S. Hume.
Daniel is survived by his oldest son Daniel J. Hume Jr. (Nicole), 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
