Daniel Scott Vinocur, 35, of Las Vegas, passed away suddenly Monday, June 11, 2012, in Bermuda, while aboard the M/S Norwegian Dawn. Dan had been working aboard the ship for the past several months. Daniel was born May 8, 1977, in Cleveland. Dan graduated from UNLV, where he earned two degrees, a bachelor of science in hotel administration beverage management, magna cum laude and a bachelor of science in culinary arts management, magna cum laude. During his life, Dan followed his many passions including flying, scuba diving, culinary arts and playing poker. His diverse interests allowed him to travel the world and build friendships with people from his home states of Nevada and Florida, as well as with hundreds of others internationally. His infectious laughter, caring heart and dry wit will be forever missed by all who loved him. Dan is survived by his loving parents, William Vinocur (Veronica) and Peggy Ruggles Archambault (Ryck); his brother, Lee Vinocur (Donna); his sister, Erin Vinocur Raynor (Jeremy); and his four beloved nephews, Benjamin, Samuel, Jack and Evan, whom he doted on at every opportunity.
