Danielle Christina Patella

Danielle Christina Patella (Del Sangro) entered the gates of Heaven on December 21, 2015 after she was hit and killed by a drunk driver. Danielle was born Monday, December 10, 1990. She was the 2nd oldest of seven children but the first child in the arms of Vince and Camille Patella. Throughout her life, Family was the most important thing to Danielle. She loved and adored each of her Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, countless Aunts & Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and soon to be born Niece. Danielle was born in Ohio, the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when she was 10 years old. Danielle adjusted so quickly and made very close friends with many people she met. As a little girl, Danielle could be found playing basketball at school or in the front yard of her house with family and or neighborhood kids. Throughout Junior High and High School, Danielle became a key player on her teams and eventually went on to be recognized by the Local Newspaper for her talent. As she got older, her smile was contagious and genuine, as she lit up every room she walked into. Danielle had one of the most beautiful souls anyone could meet. She loved with all her heart and had a gentle touch. Danielle found the goodness in every one; she had a way of turning every frown upside down, while warming the hearts of others. She Loved, Laughed, Joked and Comforted others during times of struggle. Heaven gained another Angel that day....

Danielle is survived by her Parents, Vince and Camille; Siblings, Brittany (Matt), Joey (Lolly), Frankie, Richard, Crystal and Vinnie; Grandparents, Joe and Ann Del Sangro, Nicholas (Deceased) and Rita Patella; her nephews, Jonathan, Matthew, Giovanni, Abel, Joseph, Vincent; her niece Siena; in addition to the many other family members who have been left with a hole in their hearts that is truly impossible to fill. Those wishing to pay their respects to this amazing young woman who was taken from us too soon can do so on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, Nevada at 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held promptly at 1:00 pm with burial at 2:15 pm.
