We were so shocked and heartbroken to hear of Steve's passing. Our deepest condolences to you and Madeline, and your entire extended family. I still vividly remember Steve & Madi's wonderful TV appearance during the broadcast of the women's gold medal game at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

Chantal & Madi,

Steve was one of a kind. Driven, determined, smart, relentless work ethic, did I say smart?, a true Vancouver Canucks fan and funny.

I so appreciate the years we spent working together; he wasn't always easy to please (and sometimes he did not reply to emails in a timely fashion!) but he made me (and everyone that worked with or for him) rise to their best -- because he always, always, did HIS best. I learnt so much from him over the years...

Will never forget the time ~ 20 years ago he invited a few of us over for a homemade chili dinner. It was the BEST chili dinner ever and to this day, our family ONLY eats Steve's chili.

We are so very sorry and sending you both light and love.

Steve did his very best, always, for you, friends, family and his work mates.
He achieved more than most ever would in a life tragically cut short.
He was loved and appreciated.
We are so sorry for your loss.

So very sorry and sad to learn of Steve’s passing. I had met Steve twice on our Canadian visits to Chatter Creek through mutual friends Don & Wayne. A great all round guy who had the most calm demeanour and liked to laugh.
