

David Minnicks, born in Philadelphia, PA on May 23rd, 1943 passed away on June 15th, 2026 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Minnicks, his daughter, Susan Goldsmith, his son in-law Scott Goldsmith, his grandson, Heath Goldsmith, and his granddaughter, Crystal Goldsmith. He had an incredibly close and special relationship with them all. David spent many years as an HVAC and architectural designer both in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
David instilled the love of reading, music, learning, and laughter in his beloved grandchildren. He had an affinity for science fiction and dark humor. He loved his family dearly and to him, loyalty and family was what mattered most. He was an incredible father, husband, grandfather, and friend and he lit up every room he was in. He was humble, intelligent, funny, kind, loving, caring, and generous. To everyone who knew and loved him, words cannot describe what an amazing human being he was. He loved fiercely and was fiercely loved back.
David will be missed and loved forever by his friends and family but his lessons, advice, jokes, and love will live on.
