Denise Anne Silva

Denise Anne Silva, known as "Mousie" passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 60, after her courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 14,1963 in Galveston, Texas and raised in El Paso, Texas. Her final years were spent in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she created a loving home surrounded by family and friends.

Married for forty years, Denise was a devoted wife to Jaime Silva and a loving mother to her four children: Jaime Silva Jr., Isaac Silva, Linda Silva, and Jonathan Silva. Her most cherished role in life was that of a grandmother, always treasuring the time spent with Arianna Camarena, Emiliano Silva, Matthew Camarena, Jesus Torres, and Adrian Garcia.

Denise was a woman of many talents, she had a passion for baking, crafting, and crocheting. She often created beautiful handmade gifts for her loved ones. She loved listening to music, relaxing with her husband and watching her favorite shows on HGTV. Denise loved to swim and play games with her kids. She found a deep love for Disney films, Mickey Mouse and Tow Mater. She loved decorating for the holidays and made sure every Christmas was unforgettable. Her spirit of giving knew no bounds. She found joy in finding the perfect gift for each person and made sure no one was left out. Our mother taught our family the true meaning of the season—compassion, love, and togetherness. Denise's warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her, always willing to lend a helping hand and share a laugh. She was a source of joy and support for those in need. Denise’s number one priority was her family, but her love extended far beyond that; she touched the lives of many through her kindness and generosity.

She is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and sisters, Donna Ribera and Dianne Strickland. Denise Anne Silva will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her vibrant spirit which brought happiness to all who knew her. Her spirit of adventure and her belief in happily-ever-afters will continue to live with us forever.

A visitation for Denise will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, 89120. A graveside service will occur Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, 89131.
