Dre's childhood was a testament to his boundless energy and leadership qualities. He was the ringleader, the one who rallied his friends and fearlessly challenged the norm. His presence was impossible to ignore, as he effortlessly commanded attention and respect from his peers. Sports were his first love, and Dre's powerful skills on the football field earned him the reputation of a "beast" in action yet a "gentle giant" at heart. Despite the unfortunate setbacks of broken bones that curtailed his athletic dreams, Dre's spirit remained unbroken. It was during a memorable trip with his Nana, Velma and his older brother to a Lil Bow Wow concert at a Tulsa skating rink that Dre discovered his true calling…MUSIC. Music became the canvas on which he painted his life's story. He began his musical journey under the name Young Duke81, inspired by his football jersey number. However, he soon realized that the name didn't quite capture his essence, leading to the birth of Dre Fletch, a name that would become synonymous with passion, talent, and relentless drive. Dre's relocation with his mom, pops and brothers to Las Vegas marked a significant turning point in his life. Shifting his focus from football to artistry focused on rap, he immersed himself in the world of music, crafting numerous songs and collaborating with other artists. His lyrics spoke of his dreams, some experiences, his desires, and the love he had for those around him. Dre's music was a reflection of his soul, resonating with listeners and leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of his fans. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Dre was an entrepreneur with a vision that extended far beyond the confines of music. His innovative ideas and business acumen set him apart, showcasing a man who was not only a talented artist but also a visionary leader. Deondre’s legacy is one of love and inspiration. To his son, Deondre Jr. he is a source of joy, strength and kindness. Dre took immense pride in being a father, cherishing every moment that he was able to spend with Deondre Jr. Their bond was cut short, however baby Dre aka DJ has his mother April Guzman and big brother Isaac, grandfathers, uncles, godfathers and a host of loved ones that will ensure he is well aware of who his father was and how much he loved him. To his mother, Deon is the son with the biggest heart, and focus on providing gifts that had meaning and memory within them. He is her son that focused on ensuring his momma experienced unique and meaningful life experiences. She saw him as a beacon of kindness, creativity and generosity, a son who never hesitated to shower love and affection on those he cared about. Deon’s ability to see the good in everyone and his spirit of giving quality time to all are qualities that his mother cherished deeply. She takes immense pride in the young man he had become, a man who made the world a better place through his respectfulness, love, creativity, compassion for music and fun spirit. Deon’s relationship with his big brother, Marquice is a bond that can never be broken. He looked up to his older brother with immense admiration and respect, seeing him as a mentor and a source of guidance. Their bond was created in shared experiences, laughter, brotherly love and an unspoken understanding that only brothers can share. Deon’s compassion and love will forever be a part of his big brother's life, providing strength and inspiration even in his absence. To his younger brother, Kyren, Deon was a beacon of motivation and playfulness. He was a role model who demonstrated the importance of hard work, dedication, and the joy of living life to the fullest unapologetically. Deon’s playful spirit and encouraging words were a source of constant support, and his younger brother will carry those cherished memories with him always. To his pops, Howard their journey together was marked by honest conversations, mutual respect, and a bond that transcended the title of stepfather and stepson to pops and son. They had disagreements and tough conversations, as his pops always made sure to express his love for him by speaking the truth, even when it was difficult. Deon, in turn, showed great respect , appreciation and love by accepting those words and using them. Deon will always be the son that picked up SOME of his amazing grilling skills as Deon swore his ribs were better; and Howard let him know he would have to keep trying. Dre's sensitivity and kind spirit was evident to everyone he encountered. He had an innate ability to inspire others, lifting them up with his words and actions. He never judged anyone and was always willing to give his last to a complete stranger. Dre's generosity knew no bounds, and his ability to tell stories that were elaborate, interesting and memorable was a testament to the depth of his character. He loved everyone for who they were, embracing their unique qualities and celebrating their individuality. Dre loved the finer things in life and was able to attain many of those material things, but more importantly, he cherished the memories he could make in life. He found satisfaction in knowing that others' feelings were important and he placed those feelings before his own. Despite his desire to always help others first, Dre naturally took the spotlight immediately when he walked into a room. Women adored him, and while men might have envied him at first, they quickly became friends, drawn to his genuine nature and the way he made everyone feel special.
