Diane Brandise

Diane Brandise, 75, went to Heaven on October 3, 2014. She was born on November 23, 1938, to John Brandt and Norma Murdock in Heber, Utah. She was introduced to Las Vegas in 1942, lived on and off here until 1956 when she married the love of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Micheal Brandise. Diane leaves behind her husband, Harry; children, Diana Baal (Greg), Tina McLean (Willie), Hillari Brandise, April Gibbons (Brian) and Enrico Brandise; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, two half-brothers and two half-sisters; and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Diane was an extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother, sister and friend. Diane was a long-time member of the Las Vegas Junior League and very devoted to their cause. She was also a member of the Las Vegas Country Club and the Dragon Ridge Ladies Golf Associations. She loved the outdoors and excelled at tennis, golf, snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, gardening and world travel. Out of all her numerous accomplishments, she considered her family to be her greatest one. She cherished the moments when her family could gather, whether it was for birthdays, holidays or barbeques or "just because." Over the past 30 plus years, Sun Valley, Idaho has been her second home and very dear to her. She leaves a large number of friends that will miss her. Her beautiful soul, infectious smile and positive outlook on life will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 - 11:00 am on Thursday, October 9, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway, Henderson. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Private interment will follow immediately.
