Dina Ebalo Taguinod

Dina Ebalo Taguinod, born August 14, 1941 in Manila, Philippines to Roque & Nenita Ebalo. She was the second to the last of 8 children: Gaudelia Ebalo-Reyes, Lilia Ebalo Corpus, Jose Ebalo, Rudy Ebalo (deceased), Aurora Ebalo Marchino, Augusto Ebalo and Evelina Ebalo Chaves. She is survived by her loving spouse, Manuel Taguinod; daughter, Davet Ebalo-Taguinod (Shaheem) Mohammed, and grandchildren, Dave & Deanna Rayala. She is preceded in death by her son, Dave Ebalo Taguinod. She graduated from University of the East with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She worked in San Francisco as an accountant for Bechtel Corporation and retired in 2003 at the age of 62. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church and proudly served as a Eucharistic Minister. She looked forward to every first Friday for the Santo Nino Novena and fellowship with members of the congregation. She loved playing mah-jongg with her friends and “playing one hours at the casino” with the love of her life every Friday on his day off. Her grandkids, Dave & Deanna were her pride and joy. Her siblings were her rock and foundation. On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2021 at 4:28pm the Lord took her into His arms. Dina was a sweet, loving, kind and gentle soul. She will truly be missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30 from 1-3PM with a Prayer Service at 2PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014, 650-755-1727.
