

Donald Marion DiVito, 78, a retired Deputy Sheriff of the Allegheny County Sherriff's Department, passed away on December 14, 2020 at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV after fighting a brave battle against the Covid-19 virus. He was born on May 6, 1942 in Sewickley, PA to Olimpio Valentino DiVito and Mary Belcastro DiVito. Don grew up in Corapolis, PA and was an Army veteran and a lover of classic cars. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Mark Andrew DiVito. He is survived by his wife, Janet Schaeffer DiVito; his daughter, Valerie DiVito Carnohan; his son-in-law William Carnohan; his brother, Joseph DiVito Sr.; his sister-in-law Diana DiVito; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alicia, Bryce, Myles, Kaden, Karly, and Maryn; his niece Mary Anne; and his nephew Joe. Services were held at Palm Southwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada. Don was laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
