Donald Ralph Sherman, 96, a Las Vegas resident, passed away on December 2, 2016. He was born on July 15, 1920 in Wadhams, New York to Ralph and Lucy Sherman. Don was polite, honest, and a decent man. He was a man of “class”. He was very devoted to his family, and he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much…he would do anything for them. He put them before he thought of himself. Don served his country during WWII and the Korean War. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was proud of all that he had done. Don was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. He had a knack for being clever, creative, witty, and he was funny like a clown, and for others, was a joy to be around. Many others looked to Don Sherman for inspiration, leadership, wisdom and even courage. He was always more than willing to share life’s experiences with his loved ones. He was very loved by his family and he truly will be missed.
Arrangements under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
