Donnie Ray Vincent

DONNIE VINCENT Donald Ray "Donnie" Vincent, 76, of Henderson, passed away peacefully, Jan. 20, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born July 21, 1937, in San Bernardino, Calif., and moved to Henderson at the age of six. Donnie graduated from Basic High School and attended Antelope Valley Junior College. He was an entrepreneur and real estate investor, as well as being involved in many other successful business ventures. He came from a large Italian family and took great pride in his Italian heritage. Donnie had a generous and loving heart. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He was blessed with many friends and "crazy" golf buddies. Donnie was preceded in death by his beloved son, Bobby; and his parents, James B. Vincent and Mamie DeMaio Vincent. Donnie is survived by the love of his life, Mary French Vincent; daughters, Shanna (Jim) Axelson and Jami Vincent; grandchildren, Mychela (Ross), Dominic, Gabby and Jackson; great-granddaughter, Gianna; and eight brothers and sisters, Ted, Angie, Charlotte, Margaret, Richie, Victor, Sharron and Jimmy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Donnie was greatly loved and will be forever missed by all who were blessed enough to know him. There will be a celebration of his life at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
