
Dorothy A. Larsen passed away April 19, 2013 at the age of 68, after a battle with kidney disease and diabetes. She was born Aug. 25, 1944 to Norman H (Bud) and Elinore (McCracken) Larsen in Ladysmith, WI,. She graduated from Ladysmith High School. She then attended nursing college where after graduation she moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1965 where she worked in several hospitals and medical facilities. She loved fishing and being with her dear friends Dee and LeRoy. She enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends. She really loved being in the great out of doors especially in the Northwest part of our country. Some of her other hobbies were oil painting, making up puzzle books, and doing crafts of all sorts. She will be sorely missed by her loving father, Norman; brother Jim (Karen), sisters, Kathy (Gary), Marlene (Ron), Tammy (Jack); stepsister Carole (Ted); stepbrother Jim (Donna); 9 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews, an uncle and many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elinore, stepmother Sarah, and brother, Norman (Buddy) Larsen. Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Foundation, or charity of your choice.
