Douglas Howard “Doc” Dreilinger, 78, retired educator and clinical psychologist, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2020. Doc was born in Brooklyn, New York to Sam and Harriett Dreilinger. He was a very loving and unique individual. He graduated from Hofstra University and received his PhD from Texas Tech University. Doc was a college professor at Long Island University (LIU) Post for over 40 years and was a practicing clinical psychologist. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Dreilinger; two sons and daughters-in law, Michael and Tamam, and Gregg and Amy; four adored grandsons, Matthew, Steven, Jake and Brian; and brother, Evan. A funeral service was held at King David Memorial Chapel, Las Vegas, NV with burial at Wellwood Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. King David Memorial Chapel and Plaza Jewish Community Chapel handled the arrangements.
