Dr. Bert Benjamin Hanf

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY to immigrants from the old world, Bert was the first in the family to obtain a formal education, ultimately obtaining his medical degree. He was married to Fay Pearl Rosengart on March 2, 1957 and they were blessed with 3 children. Bert was a respected and lauded Osteopathic Family Practice physician in New Jersey, California, and Nevada up until his retirement. Bert was preceded in death by wife Fay, Father Sam Hanf, Mother Rose (Barick) Hanf and sister Jeanne (Hanf) Levin. He is survived by his three children Meryl (Hanf) Hankins, Ted Hanf, and Russell Hanf, grandchildren Jaryd and Rachel Hankins, Chloe and Camryn Hanf, Benjamin and Jackson Hanf, great grandson Gunner, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A gravesite service for the family and close friends will be held on Sunday May 26, 2019 at King David Cemetery in Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers or donations, please take a moment to reach out to your loved ones and show them how much you appreciate them
