Earline Lois Sanders was born to Alma and Hilliard Harris of Sunnyside, Texas on September 28, 1921 the third child of four. She moved with her parents at an early age to Houston, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the St. Paul C.M.E. Church. She completed her High School and College education in Houston, Texas. Earline married her childhood sweetheart, Cleon Sanders, in 1941. They were blessed with four wonderful children Alma, Lawrence, Janice and Gloria. Lawrence and Janice preceded her in death. She moved to Los Angeles, California in 1945. There she joined the Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church where she served faithfully until she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002 where she joined the First C.M.E. Church and continued to work faithfully in The Missionary Society and Stewardess Board. She is survived by her two daughters Alma Sanders and Gloria Lewis of Henderson, NV; three grandchildren Barry Lewis and Nicole Lankford of Las Vegas, NV, and Lorenzo Sanders of Antioch, CA; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
