I remember when Edda came to Hawaii with Tiffany and I picked her up put her in my red Volkswagen and showed her my Hawaii.
I spoke with  Edda when I  was in Fatima . I was  fortunate to find a priest at midnight who spoke Italian said a prayer for Tommy and lit a candle.

I met Edda years ago in Wildwood New Jersey. She was a gogo girl in the bar of a club called Phil and Eddie’s Surf Club. I was performing in the main room with a group called the Frankie Brent review. Frankie immediately fell in love with Edda and we all caravaned out to Las Vegas at the end of the summer in our separate cars. While I was driving through Flagstaff alone in the pitch-dark middle of the night my car hit a patch of black ice and spun around three times and ended up on the side of the road. I sat there shaking like a leaf for God knows how long, then I heard a knock on my window! It was Edda! She was worried about me when I didn’t show up for our designated meeting place outside of Kingman. She made Frankie Brent turn around and drive back to look for me! She insisted on taking the wheel and folded her tall body into the driver seat of my Volkswagen and drove me the rest of the way to Kingman! From that day on she watched over me like I was her baby sister. She even helped me through my first divorce! But that’s another long story. LOL. I am devastated that she has left this earth. 🥲

I remember when Edda came out with Tiffany to Hawaii. She made all arrangements, wouldn't let Louise help and I met them at the Hawaiian Hilton. We had lunch at the Royal Hawaiian and a wonderful time 😊. What a kind and gentle person.

She had my husband and I for dinner once and introduced me, a young,  mid-west, "farm country" girl, to gnocchi. I've never been able to make it as good as she did. It was a wonderful, memorable encounter from 1982 that I've never forgotten.  It was an absolutely delightful evening with her.  It's a sad loss, but her light shines on in everyone she's touched, like me. Blessing and prayers for the family.

When the DeLuca family moved to Las Vegas in 1974 we were welcomed by old family friends Nicky and Tommy DeVito and their families.  We would sit around the table enjoying their wonderful stories and jokes.  Edda was so gracious and loving.  Always a smile, sympathetic ear and a fresh pot of coffee.  She had a great presence and we all loved her.  Edda was a one of a kind, old school Philly girl.  With the Grace Of God, May She Rest In Peace 


We met Edda 12 years ago in New Jersey and from the start she was always wonderful to us.  She always made us feel welcome and treated us as family when we visited in Vegas. I never imagined Edda was 82 years old. My husband and I met her at a dedication dinner in Belleville NJ. I remember how she blushed when I told her how pretty she was. Such a sweet woman. Deepest sympathy to her husband who we miss at the bakery. To her children and extended family. May she rest peacefully in the arms of God and all of his Angels. 

My deepest condolences go out to all of my Aunt Edda’s family. To her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings , nieces and nephew, many prayers of love and support to you.  I have such fond memories of Aunt Edda when I was a young child growing up. She was so openly affectionate and loving towards me. I enjoyed our walks in Avalon and how she made me laugh so much with her wonderful sense of humor. I love you Aunt Edda ! May the angels watch over you in heaven and I hope go here truly at peace now.
