CPO EDGARDO GONZALES U.S. Navy, Retired Edgardo Cruz Gonzales, born, Dec. 1, 1932, passed peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father June 20, 2011. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he served our country in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Postal Service for a total of 40 years. He put two children through college, providing a loving home for his family. He is survived by wife, Mercy; son, Michael (Frances) Gonzales of California; daughter, Marisa (Jake) Fulkerson of Wyoming; grandchildren, Alan, Micaleen, Katy and Sesh; and great-grandson, Slade. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 24, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson. "Rest in peace Edgardo."
