Edward E. Castellan Sr. lost his battle with cancer Oct. 24, 2011. He was born in Chicago, Feb. 19, 1930. He retired to Henderson in 1990. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife, of 57 years, Anna; his sons, Albert, Edward II (Iolanda), Michael (Andrea) and David; daughter, Julie Salerno (Chuck); and four grandchildren, Gian Carlo (Michelle), Edward III, Arianna and Vincent. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday Oct. 29, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway Henderson, NV 89052. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Building Fund.
