Elizabeth Morris Suckow

Elizabeth Morris Suckow passed away on January 1, 2014. She was born on January 20, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Las Vegas in 1975 where she began a career in real estate and later home staging. Liz was actively involved in several organizations including Junior League of Las Vegas and the Nevada Opera Theater. She served for many years as a board member of her alma mater, Verde Valley School, an International Baccalaureate boarding and high school in Sedona, Arizona. As a philanthropist, Liz supported a number of causes that she cared about deeply including education, the arts, and many local organizations including The Shade Tree in Las Vegas. Liz was an avid traveler and enjoyed sharing stories of adventures with her husband, most recently a beautiful train trip across Canada. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Liz was preceded in death by her parents Nelson Morris II and Joan Johnson Morris; brother Nelson Morris III; and son Terrence Suckow. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gilbert Suckow; daughter Sarah Suckow Killeen; brothers John Edward Morris and Guy William Morris; and extended family and friends.

The celebration of her life will occur at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, January 13, 2014, at 10:00AM.
