peacefully at home in Henderson, Nevada on March 1st,
2026.
She turned 71 on January 9 and recently celebrated 50
years of marriage on June 21st with her husband, family and
friends. She is survived by her husband, Joe; four children,
Jose, Christina, Elizabeth, and Richard, and their spouses
and families; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Vera will be remembered for her warm and beautiful smile,
devotion to her family, and her fun-loving, out-going
personality.
Her favorite moments were spent with her kids
and grandkids. Vera was a devoted wife and mom who
created close relationships in her current neighborhood and
with others around the world. Vera and Joe enjoyed their
special love for each other traveling the world together,
visiting Mexico, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy,
Greece, Thailand, and parts of South America and Africa.
She was a woman of faith, and has gone home to be with our
Heavenly Father.
