Emil was my uncle (my mother’s bother). He was the embodiment of the American dream; he built a successful business from the ground up and was able to enjoy his success and enjoy life. It is sad that he dealt with this horrible illness in his last couple of years, but that illness didn’t define him, his force of life did, and that force of life was the force of a person who was a successful business man, and who loved life. This is Emil’s true legacy, a legacy that is exciting and glowing.
