Eric Shawn Templeton

Eric Shawn Templeton, also well-known as Dj Amnesia will always be remembered, especially by the locals of Las Vegas for his skill of reading the crowd and playing what made them happy. If you were lucky enough to know him personally, he was that friend who would go out of his way to make everyone happy. He truly loved ALL people and just wanted everyone to have a good time.

When not out entertaining, Eric was my husband and my life partner. His smile could instantly take away a bad day. I miss his ability to see the good in almost every situation and the way he just knew he would make it out ok. Our 21 years of marriage were not perfect, but we grew together and made it through everything that came our way. He was father to Araya, Emali, Hannah, Gretchen, and Avrie and grandfather to Brynlee and he loved them all beyond words. Our lives will not be the same in his absence. I know that now his pain is gone and he is reunited with his father, whom he has missed so much, as well as our Angel, Gretchen. My heart is forever broken but there is some comfort in knowing that they are together again.

I do not know when we will be ready to hold a service in Eric’s honor, but please know that anything that any of you decides to do, you have my blessing. He would want everyone to be together and celebrate his life and the difference he made in all of yours.
