Esther Felder De Eidelman

She was born in Aracataca, Colombia on October 12, 1939. Esther lived in Caracas, Venezuela from 1954 to 1990, where all three of her daughters were born: Miriam, Elizabeth, and Debbie. She moved to Miami, Florida after her first grandchild, Joshua, was born. She stayed in Miami for 11 years during which time she had another grandchild, Jessica. In 2001, Esther relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to be closer to her family who had moved previously, and where she remained until her passing. While in Las Vegas, she had two more grandchildren, Soren and Shenandoah.

Throughout her life, Esther took on diverse roles in different fields some of which are mentioned here. She was an executive secretary of the CUE organization (United Emergency Campaign), where she also helped in fundraising for Israel. During that time, the Yom Kippur war took place in October 1973 and she worked tirelessly with her colleagues to raise additional funds for Israel’s defense. Later, she took on the role of Purchasing Manager for a nationwide chain of department stores. In a different role, Esther became the owner of two children’s boutiques. In all her roles, Esther had the highest work ethic and gained the trust and love of colleagues and clients alike.

Esther was a vivacious woman. Beautiful, outgoing, and kind, she used to be the life of the party at every gathering she attended. She had several lifelong friends who she kept in contact with despite distance and time. In many ways, she was a trendsetter and ahead of her time. Esther was also a devoted and beloved sister, mother and grandmother. She was an attentive and strong mother, who could always be counted on in times of need. She helped raise all of her grandchildren until her last day. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her brothers and their wives: Marcos and Eva Felder, and Elias and Estela Felder. Esther is also survived by her daughters and their husbands: Miriam and Kenneth Kraemer, Elizabeth and Edward Paredes and Debbie and Benjamin Wilreker; and grandchildren: Joshua King, Jessica Paredes, Shenandoah Wilreker and Soren Wilreker.

A funeral service for Esther will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 12:00 pm at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120 with committal service to follow.

Esther Felder de Eidelman, de 83 años, de Las Vegas, Nevada, falleció el 20 de octubre de 2022.

Nació en Aracataca, Colombia el 12 de Octubre de 1939. Esther vivió en Caracas, Venezuela de 1954 a 1990, donde nacieron sus tres hijas: Miriam, Elizabeth y Debbie. Se mudó a Miami, Florida después del nacimiento de su primer nieto, Joshua. Se quedó en Miami durante 11 años, tiempo durante el cual tuvo otra nieta, Jessica. En 2001, Esther se mudó a Las Vegas, Nevada, para estar más cerca de su familia que se había mudado anteriormente y donde permaneció hasta su fallecimiento. Mientras estuvo en Las Vegas, tuvo dos nietos más, Soren y Shenandoah.

A lo largo de su vida, Esther asumió diversos roles en diferentes campos, algunos de los cuales se mencionan aquí. Fue secretaria ejecutiva de la organización CUE (Campana Unida de Emergencia) donde también ayudó en la recaudación de fondos para Israel. Durante ese tiempo, la guerra de Yom Kippur tuvo lugar en Octubre de 1973 y trabajó incansablemente con sus colegas para recaudar fondos adicionales para la defensa de Israel. Más tarde, asumió el cargo de Agente de Compras de una cadena de almacenes a nivel nacional. En un rol diferente, Esther se convirtió en propietaria de dos boutiques para niños. En todos sus roles, Esther tenía la más alta ética de trabajo y se ganó la confianza y el amor de colegas y clientes por igual.

Esther fue una mujer vivaz. Hermosa, extrovertida y amable, solía ser el alma de la fiesta en todas las reuniones a las que asistía. Tenía varios amigos de toda la vida con los que se mantenía en contacto a pesar de la distancia y el tiempo. En muchos sentidos, marcó tendencia y se adelantó a su tiempo. Esther también fue una hermana, madre y abuela devota y querida. Era una madre atenta y fuerte, con quien siempre se podía contar en momentos de necesidad. Ayudó a criar a todos sus nietos hasta su último día. Su familia y amigos la extrañarán profundamente.

Le sobreviven sus hermanos y sus esposas: Marcos y Eva Felder, y Elias y Estela Felder. A Esther también le sobreviven sus hijas y sus esposos: Miriam y Kenneth Kraemer, Elizabeth y Edward Paredes y Debbie y Benjamin Wilreker; y nietos: Joshua King, Jessica Paredes, Shenandoah Wilreker y Soren Wilreker.

El funeral de Esther se llevará a cabo el lunes 24 de Octubre de 2022 a las 12:00 p. m. en King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, seguido del servicio de entierro.
