Esther Maxine Weaver, 70, a retired beautician, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 29, 2010. She was born Jan. 22, 1940, in Las Vegas, N.M., and was a 65-year resident of Las Vegas. Esther was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Velasquez; mother, Josephine Velasquez; husband, William Weaver; son, Charles Rivero; and daughter, Carmelita Groves. Esther is survived by her brother, Leroy; sister, Betty; son, Miguel Rivero; daughter, Rebecca Plashook; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
