I worked at Siena Hills while Ethel was there and she was very sweet to me and  appreciated everything that I did for her. She loved playing black jack, going to see entertainment. Sending prayers to all of her family.

Thoughts of sympathy are with you today. Numbers 6:24-26

Ethel was a lovely lady whom we were fortunate enough to befriend for nearly 20 years here in Henderson.
She and Leo were very fine people who lit up the room by their presence.
Ethel will be missed and never forgotten by friends.

Ethel was a faithful member of the Sun City Anthem Choraliers, when I directed them. She said she was a tenor so I always placed her in the front row of the tenor section.
She sang through every number, knowing all the words of her favorite pieces we performed, and she always sang "melody" with the sopranos, but it was Ethel, so no matter, it was just fine. We loved her dearly.
At the Assisted Living Home, she never missed a recital of my piano students' performances.
She told me that every morning, after rising, she got dressed and ready for the day ahead. 
She was a lovely, beautiful, proper lady.

From all of us in Sun City Anthem Havurah, we send our sincere condolences.  Ethel was a beloved and dedicated member of the Havurah.  Even when she was no longer an SCA resident, she wanted us to send her Havurah news, so she'd know what was going on! I am so glad that I had the pleasure and honor to know her, even if just for a short time.

70 years is our lifespan-80 years with special mightiness. Psalms 90:10. Ethel had 97 years of special mightiness. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of the times you spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. She was very special indeed.
