Evelyn C. Chiaverini

Evelyn Chiaverini (Ciccio) ,95, of Las Vegas passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2022. She was the wife of the late Guy Chiaverini, a professional trumpet player. After touring with famous 'Big Bands' during the post WW II era, they made Las Vegas their home in the 1950s. They opened Chiaverini's Sausage Shop, following in the tradition of Chiaverini's of Providence, RI founded in 1890. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Ciccio and sister of the late: John, Ralph, Anthony and Joseph Ciccio, Anna Silva, Lena Cifelli, Fannie Scungio, Millie Lombardi and Helen Eagan. In retirement she was a dedicated caregiver to loved ones in need. She will be greatly missed by her Ciccio nieces and nephews and the family of dear friends she created in Las Vegas. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at Palm Eastern Mortuary. A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
