Evelyn Tamah Hanson

After a year long losing battle with a rare bile duct cancer Evelyn passed on Friday, December 18, 2015. Born September 30, 1938, in Union City, NJ, to Virginia and Leon Hanson. She was a retired Accounting Manager and Law Firm Administrator. She spent time as a volunteer for Catholic Charities and H2U Mountainview Hospital. Survived by her 32 year life partner, Glenn E. Sacks of Las Vegas; his sister, Michele S. Wolitz of Las Vegas; loving nieces and nephews, Peter and LuAnne Kelly of Wisconsin, Virginia Bellizzi of NJ, Bobbie Jean Long of PA, Darryl and Lucy Long of NJ, Lori and David Kellam of NJ, David Long of N Carolina; grand nephews, David Long of NJ, Derrik Long of NJ, sons of Daryl and Lucy, Erin Long son of Bobbie and his wife Chelsea of PA, Devin Long of NJ son of David and great grand nephews Hunter, and just born on the 20th great grand nephew Levi, sons of Erin and Chelsea, grand nephews Peter and Leon, sons of Peter and LuAnne. She was a surrogate mother to all since the passing of her of her beloved sister, Louise Long.

A shining star goes dark and is quickly replaced by another.

Also surviving are her beloved pets; Mitzi the poodle and CoCo the Bijon.
