I met Farah in Detroit almost 40 years ago.
I was student at Wayne state university and I he just finished pharmacy school and was working at a pharmacy in Dearborn.
He was amazing man, funny and always had a positive attitude
I was trying to rent an apartment but got denied because I was a student and did make enough money to qualify.
My roommate and I talked to him and he immediately told us that he will lease the apartment in his name. That was before he went back home to Ramallah, Palestine in 1990.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.

Farah will be missed and may his memory last forever.

Farah was such a sweet man. He once rescued me at 2am when my car broke down on the Lodge freeway. We had many good times together.  I missed Farah so much when he moved out west. Taken too soon. Rest in peace 🙏🏼

Wow… this one hits hard.  Farah and I were roommates in college.  Both in the fraternity house and then in an upper flat in Hamtramck.  One of the nicest, most considerate persons I’ve known. Taught me a lot about oppressed people and life in the Middle East.  Was looking forward to visiting him in Hawaii in the next year or so… May he rest in peace… forever in Palestine.
