Florence L. Froster

Florence Froster, age 86, returned to her Heavenly Father on December 19, 2014. Florence was born in Costa Rica on July 23, 1928. She immigrated to the United States in 1979 and originally made her home in New York City, New York. She later moved to live with her daughter, son-in-law and her grandchildren in Las Vegas, Nevada. The year was 1980. Florence never spent a day without staying current or spectating a sporting event. She was a devout fan of UNLV Basketball and as a season ticket holder attended for many years. However, she never found a sport she could not appreciate. Equal to sports, was her passion for spending time and volunteering at the Cora Coleman Senior Center. She made daily trips to visit her close friends and participate in all the activities they provided and hosted. She would sing, dance and have some of the best times of her life at the center. Florence is survived by her daughter Dorla Hart Morris; her grandchildren Kellye and Drew Eancheff, James and Lisa Morris and Louis and Ericka Morris; along with her great-grandchildren Michelle, James, Jacob, Elias, Lucien, Christian and Emmery.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, January 4, 2015 at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
