Frank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rudolph and Adelaide Sutschek, the third child of the family. Older brother Rudy and sister Judy have preceded him in death. He attended Catholic grade school at Immaculate Conception. He graduated from Don Bosco Catholic High School for boys in 1961. He attended UWM earning a Bachelor’s degree in theatre before joining the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lynne. They were together for three years before she would say “yes”. He and Lynne took the party train with Dixie and Mario and Gina and Dave on Cinco de Mayo, 1984. They were married at the Chapel of the Fountain at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. It was a double wedding, Dixie and Mario were married at the same time. In 2012, Lynne found out that the marriage license was never stamped and registered, so they weren’t legally really married until it was stamped on January 23, 2012; then she could get a Driver’s License in Nevada as Lynne Sutschek. After spending a few days in Vegas, they slept all the way back on the train back home to California.
He is survived by his mother-in-law and best friend, Opal Hanon; his stepchildren Robert and Jeff Street; beloved granddaughter Kallie Brianne Tapie and her husband Brandon; his noisy dog Shelia; sister-in-law Sandy Sutschek; his treasured nieces: Jean Fischer, Ann Ball, and Kristine Muglia; his dear nephews: Donnie Ellis, Danny Kinkaide, Richard Flees and his wife Paula, Erik Flees and his wife Joanne, Kenny Flees and his wife Lisa, John Sutschek and wife Deirde, Rob Sutschek and Tim Parks; precious great nieces: Karen, Becky, Annie, Laurie, Dina, Sierra, Jessica, Christina, Brittany, Megan, Katie, Hannah and Chloe; cherished great nephews, Danny and Chase; great-great niece Amelia; and great-great nephews Ty, Jasper and Ollie.
