Dearest Frank:  I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you’re not here.  It’s so strange … I somehow expect to call your cell and  hear your voice in the other end.

The last time I called and left a VM message …  
I asked that you call me back because I wanted to tell you about this dream I had while it was fresh in mind.  Both you and your Mother were in it.  I kept telling myself that it must have been an “early morning dream” because it seemed so REAL … the kind of dream that has you “reach out to touch”.   It  was like I was really with you.  

I remember I drove back to my Mom’s  and told her all about seeing you … and the location was a duplex type of home in FL — near a school.  

I literally woke up feeling as tho’ I was with you!  The first thing I did when I realized it must have been a dream - was call YOU - but, you didn’t answer - so, I left a VM message in an anxious, excited voice because I could not get over the how we got together in this dream.  Crazy, too …  both our Moms had passed.

You never returned my call - which was so unlike you.  I thought about it from to time …  and figured you were probably busy enjoying  life   —or—  you fell in love (or lust) … either or both would have been a good thing!  

But you didn’t call me back … because you were already gone.  

Today marks your 2-year anniversary of leaving all of us behind … as you journey on to “God knows what’s next” in the book of Frank! 

But, this I do know:   You came to me in that dream to say “good-bye”.   My heart is wounded because time escaped us both prior to your exit …  and the last time we had spoken … it was about Ryan — we talked about all getting together when he and his wife flew back to the USA.  You even joked about flying to Shanghai to visit them in the future only IF the Concord would fly us there!  

Guess what, Frank … it’s happening.  The Concord is making a comeback!  Now it’s YOUR  TURN  to do the same!  Surprise me in a dream!

Frank gave me my first law job at the end of my second year in law school. I will never forget the patience he had with me when I was trying to learn. He gave me a lot more than a job, he instilled in me a confidence I never lost. He had maybe the greatest sense of humor of anyone I have ever known. I am truly grieved by this loss. God bless Frank and all of you.

I knew him briefly when he referred a case to the attorney for whom I work, but it was always a pleasure to talk with him, and he graciously met me and my husband for drinks when we visited Las Vegas. He was quite memorable and will be missed by all who knew him.

Knight in Shining Armor with a Heart of Gold

We met Frank at a difficult time in our lives, March 1987. After speaking with several attorneys, my parents were desperate to encounter a real one. On that lucky day, their prayers were answered when Frank agreed to take our case. Little did we know that it would be the start of a multi-year journey. 

During those years, Frank invested his time, his energy and his own money to pursue justice for us and our family. Frank was brilliant.  Through his own strategic discover of the famous blue notes that were a linchpin of our case, and through his tactical litigation strategies displayed in the courtroom, Frank in his own lovable, courteous, friendly and intense way took the judge and jury to an inescapable conclusion and, in so doing, brought the Fortune 500 company and its nationally ranked attorneys to their knees. That 6-week journey at trial with Frank changed the lives of our family.

We'll never forget a time towards the end of the trial. We were running out of money and Frank stepped up and paid our December mortgage. That's the kind of man and friend that he was.

After the trial, Frank went on to pursue other injustices. Frank moved to Las Vegas and we moved to Lake Arrowhead and eventually North Carolina. But through the years our family remained in contact. Our family benefited so much from Franks' generosity that we will never forget his impact on our lives.  There were many occasions over the years where my parents, my siblings, and I were in need of assistance or advice, and Frank was always at the other end of the phone anytime we reached out. 

He enjoyed a good meal and friendly conversation. He always seemed healthy and on top of his game. He was a true friend, generous, kind and sincere with a few thought-provoking quips at the ready. A light has gone out from the world. A good, honorable man is no longer with us. So unexpected and incredibly sad. 

In medieval times he would have been the Lancelot who saved the realm. In our time he was our knight in shining armor!

We miss you Frank.

We miss you!!

Frank is my younger brother-by 18 months-so we grew up very close. We graduated from Forest Hills HS together in 1967.  When he entered college that Sept, he was only 16 years old. I'll miss my brother who would send me email about our childhood years, and never forget a gift for my birthday and Christmas. I am so sad and so heartbroken - still I take comfort in the words said at his Celebration of Life service that we need to be thankful Frank was in our lives rather than dwell on his leaving our lives. Frank will forever be in my heart.    

I. Have known you for over 30 years, and even though we had our differencesyou accepted me into your home and life.  I learned alot from you and i thank you for all of the help. You gave to us.  We consider you family.  I miss you, Rest in peace.

we miss you so much already and wish you didn't have to leave us so soon, but I know you are still here with us. You have taught me so much about life and I will forever carry all of the lessons you taught me. I can't even Express how much we are hurting right now but I know you want us to remain strong. its hard trying to write anything because words can't truly Express how great of a person you are. You are loved by so many and we will forever cherish every one of  the fond memories we had with you.

It is with deep sorrow I share my condolences with all to whom Frank shared his life and many gifts. His sudden, unexpected death has left us without the opportunity to personally express our appreciation and good byes. His heart was good and kind- we shall play it forward in tribute to him.
Thank you for being a treasure in my life.  

 One of my all-time favorite people. Generous, intelligent, and fun. Frank helped me be a better lawyer and a better man.

Dear Uncle Frank, 
You were my dad's best friend, and after his death in 1987 you kept your promise to always be there for my mom and me.  I will always miss you, and will forever be grateful for all you shared and gave.
