

Frank O. Marzette, 79, traded life for eternity on September 8, 2017. He was born in Fairhope, AL and has been a resident of Henderson, NV for the past 16 years. He previously resided in Milpitas, CA for 26 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Hannah Marzette; sisters, Beatrice Lawrence, Dorothy Abner, and Doriska Alexander; brothers, Theodore Marzette, Roscoe Marzette, Johnny Kirkmon, and Richard Baugh.
Frank retired from the United States Navy as a Master Chief (E-9) after a 30-year distinguished career. Some of his most notable accomplishments were the Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Expeditionary Medal, 8th Conduct Award For The Period Ending 13 Sep 85, Navy Battle “E” Ribbon (3 Awards), National Defense Service Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3 Awards), Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Marksman Pistol Ribbon, Qualified Aviation Warfare Specialist, and Qualified Naval Aircrewman.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved and devoted wife of 57 years, Grace Marzette; 2 loving sons, Marcus (Emily) Marzette of Peoria, AZ and Shawn (Ella) Marzette of Peyton, CO; a beloved and devoted daughter, Kimberly (Johnathan) Vizcarra of Henderson, NV. He leaves his much-loved grandchildren, Darius Marzette of Sunnyvale, CA and Leilani Marzette of Sacramento, CA; Kayla, Franklin, James and Katherine Vizcarra of Henderson, NV; 2 great grandchildren, Avelani Garcia and Kuhleia Alexander of Sacramento, CA. A loving sister, Reto Dickey of Denver, CO and a devoted niece, Alice Hardin of Daphne, AL; 2 sisters-in-law, Delores Webb of Montrose, AL and Shirley (Mark) Kiel of Greensboro, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13 from 4-7pm with a Funeral Service Friday, September 15 at 3:00pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Burial will be Monday, September 18 at 12pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
