I was stationed with Frank way, way back in the early ‘60’ in a seaplane squadron; Philippines and San Diego. He’s in the middle row, 4th from the right. Definitely smart, and squared away. I’m just looking for some of the old timers and came across Frank. Quite an accomplishment making E9. The Navy must be very proud of him. Rest in Peace, Frank. Late, but condolences to your family,

Frank, as was said often, on the links at Moffett,"You Da Man". Frank you were the man. A fine leader, a mentor for the young Sailors, as well as the Big Red CPOs. You were a positive, inspirational man. Sayonara Shipmate. We miss you Frank.

May /5th 2018. It is with deep deep sorrow to day I have learned of the passing of Master Chief Marzette. he was my Guarding Angel, from VP-31 to VP-19 and back to VP-31. we became close over the years I was serving under his leader ship even after I left the Navy and he retired we stayed in contact when I was Driving Truck long hall I would some times get a load to the bay area and would be able to see my friend Frank and even when he relocated to Henderson Nevada we stayed close i would call him or he would me we talked about the times when we where in the Navy our old comrades, Frank and I missed Senior Green on his passing. I am hurting deeply I so do miss him it has been a while that he has not called or my self ether was planing  a trip this August 2018 to see him and spend night or two be with him and Grace. After Frank was born they broke the mold, there never be any one like him ever again. I have never respected any one more or looked up too as my Guarding Angel Master Chief Frank Marzette. He was kind but he had a special strength that most command men did not possess hes leader ship and manner is a very rare that only comes along once in a life time. I will dearly miss the conversations and close camaraderie ship we shred in serving our Country and and in civilian life, God speed Frank, may the Lord keep you, may the lord shine his light on grace and keep her in this time of her sorrow , may the Holy Spirit rap his arms around her. It is deep deep sadness to day I learned of the passing my fried Master Chief Frank MarzetteI am sadden to my soul, I will miss him and the conversations that we have had overall the decades, frank has been , or was my gardening Angel when we served  VP-31,VP-19, and back in VP-19 again I have more respect for him the any Man I have ever known. My husband and I were blessed to have met Frank & his lovely wife Grace just this past year through their sweet neighbors,  the Brimhalls.  While we only knew him briefly,  we were touched and impressed by his kind nature & his happy, friendly personality.   He (and Grace too) were so enjoyable to visit with.  What a great example of a beautiful marriage.  We look forward to the time when we can all continue our pleasant conversation up above.  Love and prayers to all of the friends & family that are missing him so.

Frank was a good man and a great husband and father.  The world needs more men like him.  Grace - Rosangela and I very much admire the way you took care of Frank during his difficult days, he was lucky to have a wonderful woman like you as his wife, as you were lucky to have such a great man as a husband. The days, weeks and months ahead are going to be difficult for you, we're always here if you need us.
