Gail Ruby Nussbaum

Gail Ruby Rifkin Nussbaum, born on August 16, 1940, peacefully passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone she knew.

Gail married her soulmate, Ronald Nussbaum, on May 29, 1972, and together they celebrated over five decades of love and companionship. She was a proud mother to four children—Jeffery, Michael, Bradley, and Lisa—and a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy and her greatest achievement.

A woman of many talents and passions, Gail loved playing cards and engaging in various games, and she enjoyed shopping trips to Macy’s, always seeking the latest fashions. She had a knack for fixing things around the house, turning everyday repairs into acts of love and care. Gail also took pleasure in pampering herself, often getting her hair and nails done, always looking her best.

Gail’s warm heart, infectious laughter, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness that will forever be treasured.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on July 21 at 10:40 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to [insert preferred charity or organization.
