Dearest Joe, Everyday that goes by, I miss you more and I realize how precious our relationship was, how precious the time we spent together was, and how precious my memories are. I feel our love just as strongly as when you were here with me.

I remember meeting you in Beirut for the first time and we got to know each other over some libations. Fuad the waiter got tired running for libations but it was fun.

My dad always loved my cooking and was so impressed that i could recreate my grandmother's meals. His favorites were the lemon chicken, lentil soup, pea soup, beef stew, my meatballs and of course all the fancy roasts and hams. I was always excited to see you and Mary and to be able to make nice meals that we enjoyed with Chloe and all my funny cats...I truly miss those times!

I will miss all the talks we had over coffee. We had the best coffee talks. Miss you Dad!

I first met Joe about 8 years ago shortly after I met Christine.  It was at House of Blues where his son Jamie was playing with his band.  I noticed Joe always spoke proudly about his kids and their accomplishments and was very supportive of them.  He had a great sense of humor.  He always made me smile when he'd hold is hand up to the side of his mouth to tell me a secret (not really whispering ... like it was really a big secret! ... lol).  I knew we had something in common when he told me that Christine made him put in a pool too!!  I still liked him a lot even though he was a dreaded Yankees fan.  Miss you Joe.

We always had a great time hanging out in the pool even with the dogs! I remember we used to put Annie and Muffins in the doggy canoe. I always enjoyed every minute I got to spend with you! You were the best grandpa! Love you and miss you!! 

I will never forget the time when we came to visit you in Florida. We played the best game of mini golf. You and I walked along the beach and collected seashells, which I still have. I was always so excited to see you and spend time with you. You always made me laugh. Miss you Grandpa!

My dad was such a great father, and friend. He was always so generous, and he would always put us kids before himself. He used to tell great stories, with just a smidge of exaggeration (or a lot). He always made me laugh. 

My dad loved adventure, and before he got sick, he would always send me emails or texts, keeping me posted of everything he was doing. He always encouraged me to do the things that made me happy, and never was judgmental. 

One thing about my dad, he was very lucky to have found true love, not once, but twice. Not only did he have it with my mother Diane, but after she passed away, he found Mary. I'm so glad he had her in his life. I never thought he'd be happy again after losing my mother. Him and Mary, had so much fun together. I think they were more active then I am. I know my mom would understand, and at least he is with her again now. I miss you so much dad, you are always with me.

Growing up he was always to parent to go to if you wanted permission to do anything. He was so easy going, he always said yes! He taugh me to drive, how scary that must have been for him, he was very patient and always said I drove too fast.   I remember one time I was a pest, challenging him to scare me...well....he hid in the closet one night and jumped out and scared me so bad I screamed and cried.  I made a mental note after that, dont dare dad! I remember when Dad broke his arm, I was so proud to help him out opening doors, carrying groceries...being the strong man (girl) of the house for him. Its funny the silly things we remember. The thing I remember the most was always waiting for him when we were going out. He was always the last one ready! We would all be standing in the foyer waiting...and waiting. Dad always made sure to look and smell good! He was a great father!

Dad could talk your ear off, loved that! When he lived in Florida, we would get on the phone and talk for hours. We had the best conversations, he was always interested in what was going on in my life. I always felt very close to him. When I was single and had no money he paid for the girls and my vacation in Florida with him. It was my first and best week long vacation. He took us everywhere, it was so much fun! I will never forget that vacation. Miss you Dad!

Dad, i can't believe its been a month since you left us.  I miss you so much but i am grateful and cherish all the time we had!  You always just wanted the best for us kids and we never had to want. The best dad anyone could ask for! My heart is broken, i love you!!!

I loved Joe for himself, his great sense of humor and the new life that he and  my sister Mary created together.  I can hear in my mind Joe's (sometimes wise) comments and laughter as I write this.  I will miss him very much.

I'll always remember a lot of great things about my brother -- good times, funny stuff that we laughed about together, long phone conversations,family get togethers,  memories that I'll have forever. We had 13 wonderful years together, Joe, and they were some of the best years of my life.
I love you and I always will. I love your family and I love living here in Nevada. I have very happy memories and picures of the many wonderful experiences we had together. I will miss you more than I can say. I know that your spirit is free now and that we will find each other again. Our love is eternal.❤
