

Dr. George Murray Flushman, 74, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was born, March 3, 1943, at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital, in Los Angeles, CA. George grew up in Westchester and attended Cowan Ave. Elementary School and Orville Wright Jr High School. His family then moved to Gardena, CA., where George attended Gardena High School. At Gardena High school George lettered in cross country track, was a participant on the tennis team, and was active in AZA. George went to El Camino Jr. College for 2 years and then transferred to the University of Arizona. He graduated in 1966, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. George continued his education at Los Angeles Chiropractic College where he received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1972. Upon graduation, he and his family moved to Las Vegas, NV., where he joined his father-in-law, Dr. Fred Sherman, in his Chiropractic practice. He is survived by his daughter, Ami Wolfe, grandson, Zachary Wolfe, son, Dr. Josh Flushman, and brother’s, Ira Flushman (Corinne), and Howard Flushman (Donna), plus additional aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery on May 5th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to Congregation Ner Tamid, Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund, 55 N.
