George Edward Graziadei

George Edward Graziadei, a respected lawyer, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away August 24, 2013. George was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived in Las Vegas since 1964. He was drafted after high school at the age of 18 and served in the Army Air Corps until his honorable discharge in 1945. He then took his under-graduate schooling at the University of Illinois. Thereafter, he went on to law school at Chicago Kent College of Law. He did not retire from being a lawyer until six months before he passed. George did not have any children of his own, but channeled a great deal of energy raising Kayla Geraci, whom he called his granddaughter, since she was six weeks old. George was an Italian gentleman, who expressed that with great pleasure to those he cherished. His kind and gentle ways were expressed not only through those he knew immediately, but throughout the Las Vegas and Chicago community. George was preceded in death by his mother Rose Matteo; father George Graziadei; brothers Joseph and Michael; and wife Sandra Lockwood. George is survived by his dear granddaughter Kayla Geraci. A viewing will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 with a funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. both at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1813 S. Maryland Pkwy. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
