He was born on March 3, 1949 in Brazil to Egon E. Herrmann and Anilse Jacobi. He found his soulmate and partner for eternity when he married Doris A. Herrmann.
George graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah in June 1967. George graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in December 1978. He worked many years for the Department of Defense and retired from that agency.
He is survived by his wife Doris; father Egon; sister Evanir; niece Tammy; and nephews Tony and Tino.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am on February 5, 2020 at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas. The burial will be held at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
