George E Molnar Jr, 79 of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 5, 2026. He was born on October 2, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of Tech Sergeant. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting from UNLV and spent 30 years working as an auditor for the state and owned a tax and bookkeeping practice for 20 years in Henderson, Nevada.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleanor, and brother Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Terry) of 55 years, sons Eddie (Mary) and Patrick (Dawn), and four grandchildren: Andrew (Oceane), Miranda (James), Tyler, and Trent.
He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and memories that will be treasured for generations. George had a great love of nature, birds, animals and the forest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a planting of a tree through the “Arbor Day Foundation” or another memorial tree planting organization.
Visitation will be at Palm Mortuary 7979 W Warm Springs Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89113 Thursday, September 17th 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Funeral Ceremony and Burial will promptly be on Friday, September 18th 10:30 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
