

Gerald was born in the Bronx, NY, to Morris and Augusta Bravin on August 26, 1929, Jerry lived a life of dedication, service, and love for his family.
Jerry began his career with the United States Postal Service before answering the call to serve in the Korean War. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and achieved the rank of Sergeant while stationed in Japan as an Aircraft Mechanic.
After returning from service, Jerry married Leona Goldstein, and together they raised three sons: Kenneth Bravin, father to Nicole Bravin (Nic), Jason Bravin (Vanessa), Brian Bravin (Maria), and Allen Adams (Bianca); Jay Bravin, whose stepchildren are Alicia Church (Steve), Ashley Martinez (Adan), and Amber Ruccia; and Robert Bravin, father to Chelsea Bravin and Joshua Bravin.
In 1972, Jerry moved his family to Las Vegas, where he built a respected career in the casino industry, working for over 40 years as a dealer, floorman, and pit boss at the Union Plaza, Dunes, and Rio Hotels earning the respect and friendship of colleagues and patrons alike.
In 1981, Jerry married Adelina Corado, embracing a blended family that included stepdaughters Lisa Killian and Leslie Fellows. Lisa’s children are Christopher Killian (Ryan), Samantha Lane (Tim), and Cody Killian, while Leslie’s children are Rory Burgstahler (Brittany), Alyssa Corado, and Daniel Fellows.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Carl Bravin and sister-in-law Sylvia Bravin. He is survived by his loving family, including 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild who will carry on his legacy of warmth, wisdom, and dedication. He is also remembered by his nephew Philip Bravin (Judy), niece Sherry Duhon (Andy), and their families.
Jerry’s legacy is one of resilience, hard work, and deep devotion to his family. He will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120, on February 20, 2025, at 9:30 AM to honor and celebrate his remarkable life.
