She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Eugene Maday; and sisters Ann (Brownie) Kalita, Elizabeth (Ralph) Brisbin, Chester (Maryann) Mikula and Hank (Janice) Mikula.
Gerry, as her friends called her, is survived by her daughter Debbie (Jeff) Cochran; granddaughters Tracy Cochran and Katie Cochran, great-granddaughter Lily Cochran; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She moved to Las Vegas in 1964 and helped her husband run Checker Cab and later Little Caesars Casino and seven shops at the MGM.
She loved to travel and went around the world three times.
She was very active in her church and other philanthropic organizations.
Towards the end of her life she found great joy in her great-granddaughter and grand-dogs.
