Gill not only served his country but he served anyone he met. I was blessed to be in his life. Gill was proud of so many things but especially his family and his photography. I’m going to miss the Grandpapoparattzi (try spelling that one!)
Sending my love to his family and friends.

We have such fond memories of our time with your father and times in Vegas with Florrie. The friendship between our dad's was built on respect and the love of the Coast Guard and it was awesome to be a part of his life as an adult so I could really appreciate the man he was. He loved all of you so much and we loved hearing about all of you through his stories. He was special and if you find pictures of little basketball players they are from little moments he took the time to share with us these last few years. I am grateful for what he added to our lives , for our new friend in Florrie and he will be forever in our hearts. Our prayers are with you in this time of loss. May Gil rest in peace with all who have gone before him.
