Gladys Viola Roy, age 86, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Friday March 13, 2020. Gladys was born August 9, 1933 in TX to Clarence and Lorena Plant.

Gladys was employed most of her life as a telephone operator for a telecommunications company.

In 1952 married Joseph W Roy. They had 5 beautiful children 4 boys and 1 girl.

Gladys is survived by; daughter Carolyn Roy of Henderson, Nevada; son Steve Roy of Bennettsville, South Carolina; son Jack Roy of Menifee, California; son Joseph "Tom" Roy of Henderson, Nevada; son Lonnie Roy of Henderson, Nevada; granddaughters Rebecca and Joi; grandsons James and Rob, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her spouse Joseph W. Roy.
