Gloria Renee Garcia Curila Lunn is cancer free and whole again. She passed into the Kingdom of God Oct. 3, 2012. She will be missed by her loving husband, Patrick; mother, Gloria Garcia (Alfonso Sanchez); father, Joseph Curila; and siblings, Joseph, Simonne and Laila. "Renee" graduated high school at 16 and was working toward her bachelor degree in education. For many years, she was active at her church, Prince of Peace. She will live on in the hearts of her entire family and those that loved her. She had a heart for God. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston. Interment to follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated.
